30 Days Wild – Day 24 – Cloud Watching & Bat Sighting

I walked into town on my lunch break, which I hadn’t done before so that was a good adventure to start with. The sun was shining, the sky was blue and the small amount of clouds there were looked white and fluffy – my favourite type of cloud, cumulonimbus. I love the bright blue colour of the sky on a sunny day.

I went for an evening walk with my other half too, and the sky was still looking beautiful. The sunset was an impressive orange-red and I hadn’t seen it such a bold colour for a while so I had to take a picture.

During our evening walk we came across a friendly beetle that landed on my other half’s sleeve as if it was hugging his arm. And best of all, we saw a bat flying around the street lights. I got a little bit excited as I haven’t seen a bat for ages either. Overall, a good, wild day.

30 Days Wild – Day 7 – Clouds

Today I have learnt that lots of clouds look like turtles. I spent all morning at a car boot sale so took the time while there were no customers to look at the clouds and how they changed throughout the day.

Here are the turtle clouds:

The clouds slowly got thicker and more grey throughout the day; starting off like this (how many turtle clouds can you spot?!):

And ending like this:

Overall, a good cloud watching day.
