I forgot to post this yesterday so here is my day two of 30 Days Wild:
I saw two urban foxes in different villages today. The first was a juvenile fox with the fur missing from its tail. It was wandering past a restaurant, sniffing the floor for food. It made its way down the residential streets – maybe it is fed my some local residents.
The other was an adult fox who crossed a main road while the traffic lights were red – it was as if he knew that was the right time to trot across the road. Clever mister fox.
I also listened to the songs of a blackbird and a robin in the garden. They were singing as loud as they could, as if they were having a sing off. The blackbird won.
